Conquer Cancer in Color

Rainbow of Hope Collection

Presenting at ISSE 2010

What: Rainbow of Hope is a color display of 20 China Glaze nail lacquers selected to coincide with the ‘awareness colors’ used to represent the different forms of cancer. For instance, we all know pink is associated with the tremendous movement to combat breast cancer. But did you know teal is used for ovarian cancer and orange for leukemia? By wearing these colors, you stand with cancer sufferers, their families and friends. At the same time, your nail polish is a symbol of hope and, like a rainbow, a reminder that even during our darkest times something beautiful has the power to inspire us.

Who: Dennise Mason, Nail Category Manager at American International Industries, created Rainbow of Hope and her daughter-in-law, Samantha, contributed the name. Dennise and Samantha’s collaboration is a tribute to Samantha’s young son, Seth, who is seriously ill with brain cancer, and to all people suffering with cancer. Rainbow of Hope offers the uplifting power of color and puts the search for a cure in—and on—your hands.

Where: Proceeds from the sale of Rainbow of Hope displays will go to cancer research and treatment organizations who are conducting breakthrough clinical trials. China Glaze has committed to donating 18% of the sale proceeds to these hospitals, clinics and foundations.

When: During 2010, Rainbow of Hope will travel to our major beauty industry trade shows. Look for us at the China Glaze booths.

Why: Because cancer knows no color. Because color heals, color cheers, color speaks everyone’s language. Because only working together will we conquer cancer. And we will do it in color.
