China Glaze and the “Louboutin Manicure” Paying Tribute to Shoe Designer’s Signature Sole

Los Angeles, CA-- May 2007--China Glaze celebrity manicurist, Marsha Bialo, (clients have included Angelina Jolie, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, and Giselle Bundchen) is doing the “Louboutin Manicure” at her Los Angeles salon. Inspired by the designer’s red-soled pumps, Bialo is using DBP-free China Glaze Ruby Pumps (a rich red with flecks of fiery red glitter) on the underside of the nail, and then she chooses China Glaze Blk-Bila-Bong, a black with aqua glass flecks, on the top side of the nail.

“You need to have some length for the visual impact of this dramatic nail,” explains Bialo. “ Any color combination will work but if you want it to say ‘Louboutin’, the underside should be a red.”

China Glaze Nail Lacquers have a suggested retail price of $6.50 each. For more information, please visit www.chinaglaze.com

Notes

Notice that the press release suggests using Blk-Bila-Bong as the top nail color instead of Lubu Heels.
