This was one of the original, core-line polishes released without a collection. First release was either late 1998 or early 1999 based on numbering. Along with Pink Lady and Spitfire, this polish was orphaned between the Moonstone and Free Fall collections.
Re-released in Holiday Hotties and Joy To The Girl. Re-promoted in 2009 for What's Your Color?.

Salsa was released as a gel polish during the initial launch of Geláze in 2014. Number 606277.
